National Resilience Programme (NRP)
A Joint Programming Approach between the Bangladesh Government and three UN Agencies (UNDP, UN Women, and UNOPS).
GOAL OF NRP
To sustain the resilience of human and economic development in Bangladesh through inclusive, gender responsive disaster management and risk informed development.
OUR AREAS OF WORK
The programme is expected to contribute the following resilience dividends to human development in the country: (a) reduced impacts of disaster events in terms of loss of lives, affected population, economic loss, and damage to infrastructure, (b) inclusive, faster and resilient recovery of social and community functions, key services, and businesses, and (c) ensuring that development opportunities continue by reducing drivers of vulnerability and responding to changes and uncertainty.

HIGHLIGHTS
Developed Disaster Impact Assessment(DIA) and Disaster and Climate Risk Information Platform ( DRIP)
Supported to prepare SOD 2019, NPDM 2021-2025 and Drafted National Recovery Strategy in an inclusive manner (gender, age and disability responsive) [Joint Initiatives]
Established Asset Management System in LGED and incorporated resilient elements in LGED Road Design Standard.
Prepared Protocol and guideline for Sex, Age and Disability Disaggregated Data (SADDD)with BBS and Gender Marker Toolkit for Infrastructure [Joint Initiative]
